Groups, Families and Pets
Families / kids
We’re a pretty calm and family friendly place to stay. We have a travel cot - please let us know in advance if you wish to use them to avoid disappointment. We also have a high chair, plastic plates/cups/cutlery and a selection of games and toys. We have family friendly pricing too:
-
Infants in cots stay for free
-
Children (under 16) half price (£11.50 per night in dormitory rooms only)
There are 3 play parks in the area, ranging from 5 to 10 minutes’ walk away. See a map of local parks. For more ideas, check our page on Things to Do.
Booking for Groups
If you'd like to book a room for a group, it can work out cheaper. Shared rooms can be booked for private use. Whole house bookings are welcome for clubs, weddings / civil partnerships, groups of friends etc. We can sleep up to 21 in total if all double beds are used. Whole house bookings are only available on a self-catering basis. Sorry but we can’t accept stag or hen groups. Please enquire for details.

Pets
All of our private and family rooms are suitable for dogs/cats. It's essential that you let us know if you plan to bring a pet so that we can allocate the right type of room. Up to three pets are allowed, with a one off charge of £5. They are welcome to stay in the bedroom under owners' supervision. Unfortunately they cannot come into the public areas as some of our guests may be allergic or even scared.
Dunkeld / Birnam is a great area for dogs in particular, and as dog owners ourselves, we're happy to suggest walks and to flag up the many dog friendly pubs and hotels.
